This thread brought up something related to one of a few questions I wanted to ask so I thought now would be as good a time as any.

Checking a few high-profile members' stats I'd guess it's of no real interest to some people and I'd imagine those people play for other stats or just for fun. Other people either value it or are just so key to their team winning (good jet pilots in particular, helo pilot/gunners and good armour drivers too in the right map) that it has directly contributed to a much higher win percentage than for a different type of player.

Related question: what's a good win/loss ratio? 1.5? 2? More than 4?

No. I mostly play with morons so the only goal is to get good KDR . If I play with my friends - then yes , we play not for frags or points , we play for team win.

Regarding that i mostly play 16 player servers with my clanmates it's one of the most important stats for me.

If i would play with random players i wouldn't care about the WLR.

used to for WCR. now it's irrelevant. don't know why they bother having it anymore as it has no use....

Yes, because my priority is to win the round, not farm points.

Your joking right. Cause it really is 34.00. I had to check his stats to see if it was true. 34 wins /  1 lose

i voted YES, thinking it was "do you want to win a round" .... indirectly this is about that.

the game is ment to win a round, and it feels great if you know it has been done by your actions, that no-one else from the team could do or has to chance to do.

Thanks guys. With the drop in the 3:1 requirement for the WCR I wasn't surprised it has become less important to people but I am surprised it's so far in favour of no, us being a typical group of competitive (largely male) gamers!
