Yes it supports DVD-ROMS....

Yes it runs BF2, but you would be better with 2G of RAM.

Well, now that Cyborg has pursuaded me, I will get a laptop to go with my desktops, from Dell.

Now I wonder if that shop do Handheld Pda thingies???

It all depends on priorities, I am on the road a lot for my "work" if you want to call it that and I NEED a high performance notebook that I can take with me. I dont mind paying a little more for a DTR that screams, Besides when buying from SAGER you are buying the same stuff that Alienware, Voodoo and falcon NW sell for a hell of a lot more.. all CLEVO. For some having a notebook is a luxury but not for those of us that need mobility and power. If I was only checking email.. looking at porn.. or writing papers for school a cheap laptop would be fine, but I have to play no matter where I am.

laptops aren't MEANT for gaming. Some have that ability, but the platform certainly isn't intended for that. My Inspiron 9300 COULD play games, but my cheaper and better performing home built desktop will always do it so much nicer.

I agree up to a point... not all laptop are well suited to play game.... if I was Sgt.Davi, I would go for the Inspiron 9400...not the 6400 whish is almost 2 years old models. But you can still get a good laptop for gaming under 2000$.

As for my laptop... I can benchmark it to any desktop... I have a Dell XPS M170 with a Nvidia 7800GTX go and I play everything at high with my native resolution @ 1900 x 1200.

Sometimes I wish at the end of the round it would say: You just been own by a laptop

Oh I cant argue that. Im just saying that there are quite a few laptops out there that can game pretty well. And for someone like myseld (student) it makes a perfect combo.
