i prefer playing SF but find it really hard 2 find a server in the uk aswell, its either full or empty no half full servers. and i havnt seen any1 on Devils Perch for months (fav map).

SF is a better game design and is far more fair, more so than vanilla. there is too many plane/hello whores. i have seen a que of 8 peeple for 1 plane and then the TK`s happen. i just cant be bothered wit that. SF all the way

I agree about being able to mix the maps between sf and vanilla. I'd love to see more maps for SF as well. Most of the new ones should be infrantry only maps, no Armor, no Helos.

I prefer SF myself mainly because of the Zips and grapples. If you use them properly, you can move throughout a map very easily.

It would be nice to see more SF maps, or even SF versions of vBF2 maps. Even AF maps like Operation Road Rage and Midnight Sun could be more fun with zips.

we need more SF servers, its pretty lame getting a server list of 80 or so and only 2 of them are close or they are full, 64 person servers, and are limited to only one map. Why not all the maps and why dont more servers play night maps, they are so much fun.

It's a tad questionable how they made Nightvision have a 'battery bar'...

I mean... The thing recharges slower than continental drift, and once it's run out it's down there until you die. ;( I rather like the night maps, they're a little annoying sure (The stairs leading up to the asylum in Devil's Perch anyone? 'Nade spamburgers!), but what BF2 map isn't in their own way?

24/7 Ghost and Warlord servers abound, but not one running 24/7 night maps that I can see. =\ I really do hope they make new SF maps.

I'll tell you why they didn't make SF variants of the original BF2 maps: Lazyness. They'd have to make new models for the China special forces and to a lesser degree 're-code' the maps. -_-;;

Cheers to Dice Canada for making a Special Forces Aerial ribbon, but cutting all the maps that have aircraft. They really can be such neophytes. And a general cheers to EA, for obvious reasons.

Actually, a SF map based in mid-town Manhattean could be fun. Zip line off the Empire State Building, stop the MEC from advancing throught the Lincoln Tunnel. Then again, it would prob end up like another Karkland.

First off, EA is retarded.

Secondly, Special Forces is not forgotten. Its just in better shape than vanilla BF2 thats why they arent focusing on it (perhaps).

Thirdly, if you want 3 new maps, you better pull the $10 out of your pocket.

Lastly, Road To Jalalabad. Im suprised it was free. EA finally pulled their head out of their butt and decided to do public beta testing. 1.4 is probably going to be the last patch to fix all the problems so they can work on BF 2142.

That is a fine idea for either vanilla or sf. So many interesting opportunities for maps go unnoticed by EA. Fight in China, but no battle in Tiananmen Square? EF without a city map duking it out in around the Brandenberg gates in Berlin?

SF is the best part of BF2, however I would like some of the new features (like Little Birds instead of Apache/Hind on Ghost Town or Mass Destruction) and NEW MAPS of course. I'm about 40hrs away from all the SF-Medals so I need new armies...
