Hi...does someone know how to make your name orange or more big then normal in game of battlefield2...or is this only an admin tool?

Well, on version 1.0 I made a bf2 account named: |CCCCCDark_Helmet. The |CCCCC made it orange. But after 1.03, they took that out so it was just |CCCCCDark_Helmet . Then, We figured out that if, in your prefix, if u put §C then it would be orange. or §3 to make it big, or even §C§3 to make it big and orange. I had §C in my prefix but when i got patch 1.3, it seems that EA has now finally removed all orange and big name stuff from bf2 completely ....

But seriously, punkX has written this Guide to Editing Localization Files that should help you. Lots of good discussion in this thread ... you'll notice that the string §C1001 is the color orange.

Please also notice that any editing of the localization files can get you banned and your stats wiped by EA, if they catch you and you get reported.

Anyone who edits original game files does so at his own risk. So if you get your stats wiped because you wanted some fancy colors, don't blame us...
