Why do a lot of you guys run it on 60Hz although your system could manage 75Hz?
Do you like pink-eye after a few hours of play?
I recently changed from 1024x768@75Hz to 1280x1024@75Hz,there's no noticeable performance loss and it looks a lot better.
On my old CRT it was a huge difference between 60 and 75Hz,on 60Hz your eyes would hurt after a few hours,on 75Hz it's way less eye-straining.I recently got a 19" TFT but I just kept the 75Hz setting....is it really unnoticeable?

LCD = TFT or is there a difference too?alpinestar wrote:

its better for your eyes if you can use a higher refresh rate. Why not change your desktop refresh-rate to 75hz as well, then you only have to resize your monitor once. because then they will matchHacial wrote:
Does it make any change if I change refresh rate from 60 hz to 75 hz? I run at 1024x1028 and I keep it 60 hz because then there's nothing going out of the screen, if I change it to 75 hz the image goes much to left and I would have to rezize my monitor everytime I change between desktop and BF2.
Edit: Someone gave me negative karma from this post for no reason!?
Is it still possible to see soldiers at medium/long distances with that res? I might try it to reduce some of my lag.DeoValente9 wrote:
