Ok guys, since I'm getting a new vid card and PSU tomorrow (alsmot here! yay) i haev time to finnayl completely reinstall bf2. I messed with the ".ogg" files a couple weeks back and now i have "tampered files" and i can't join servers. So, I know that I completely uninstall BF2 and Bf2: SF and then reinstall them in that order (BF2 then BF2: SF) but what patch should i install? I have patches: 1.12, 1.21 (incremental), 1.22 (incremental), 1.3 (incremental). So should I install all of them, in that order, after I install BF2, then BF2: SF?

and if u cant be bothered surching just in stall bf2 bf2 sf then the patch(smallest number to greatest number e.g. start with 1.12 and finish with 1.30) MAKE SURE U INSTALL BF2:SF BEFORE U PUT THE PATCHES ON

Install Special Forces
Run the full 1.3 patch installer
Pretty basic stuff but make sure that you install SF before you patch and I would also recommend the full patch 1.3.
Since incremental patch 1.3 came out alot of people have been complaining about crashes, obviously 1.3 caused alot of instability. Since reinstalling both BF2 and SF I've had 2 crashes in around a month. I'd recommend everyone to reinstall anyway to help stabilise.

Correctomundo. I did it a week or two back after formatting and it worked like a charm, although I did do EF and then AF after SF and before 1.3.Prodie wrote:
