Hard to get kills while playing sniper

I've played sniper before, and you don't get as many kills as you do as assault, spec-ops, or support. Infact, your lucky to average 5 kills in a 32 player game. Because snipers are easy to spot, and take out. I think that a third-tier autosniper unlock with good damage and accuracy would give snipers a big boost!

You have to hide well and move! If you stay in one position they will get you! Change your position on rooftop! If you aim good you will get much more kills!

the second unlock basically kills the guy anyway...if you made it MORE powerful...i'd be a one shot kill...ie...just hit them anywhere (foot, arm, leg, pinky toe...ect) and they would die...so i dont think so

Any of the sniper rifles besides the Type 88/SVD semi auto sniper rifles should be 1 hit 1 kill in the head or chest. The .50 from the M95 would kill 1 hit in the chest, the .308 from the L96 would kill 1 hit in the chest. I dont know about the M24 though.

you must play in 64 servers if you got hostel and the fight between hostel and the next point starts whiteout armour you make many kills and you will be reanimated and if you shoot make an head shot accept when you see their already hit. and in the chest its dead in one shot you always hit (beside the head)them 90% whit a m24, m90 and la9whatever the mec sniper and china sniper 30% each shot

I only play sniper when I get jacked by one twice.. so I'll find the bugger. I see alot of snipers nowadays, seems like the sniper is my third most played kit...odd... I don't like sniping.

I used to whoer anti-tank. I got alot of kills killing armor. But the infantry kills i made weren't very plentiful (because of the shitty SMG it gives you) If i had used support or medic, i would have many MANY more kills than i have now.

oh god not this "M95 should kill in one hit" bullshit. one-hit kills are not fun. just stop asking for it. it's a bad idea.

and the OP must not be a very good sniper if he can't get more than 5 kills in a round. for me, sniping is all about finding the best spot to offer the best targets without being spotted. This means avoiding going to places where you consistently find enemy snipers. If it's a well know sniper spot, you're more likely to get nailed. also, using your claymores in a smart way helps too.

Its all about the headshot baby, all about the headshot. Sniper kit, once youve got the hang of it, is such a satisfying kit to play with. Get the one hit on the head, see them fall over dead, or put a claymore around a corner and watch a fool run around to try and kill you.......ahh, beautiful. And play a 64 player wake if you want sniper kills. i consistently get 20-30 kills every round with solely sniper kit. Its damn good fun!

Sniping isn't that hard is just getting good shots before your opponent does on you.

If you take out a sniper and you know he's seen you, move..otherwise he'll check back.

If you can only "manage" 5 kills IAR, you need more help than I thought. My best? On a 32? See Wake Island BR. 49 - 6. Not the best, but leaps and bounds from 5!

Theres no place to hide where the enemy cant find you. Personally, i think the first medic unlock, the scoped one. Is much better of a sniper rifle than any of the bolt action rifles.

This isn't a debate about 1 shot 1 kills snipers - if you want a 1 hit kill use the AT rocket.

As for sniping, I find myself playing sniper more that I'm having funw ith it. The M95 shoots through glass and destroys pesky chopper pilots before they can take off. Hell, even your pistol is a good weapon against any class if the attacker sucks enough - I find myself killing guys with RPKs and G36C's with my pistol from time to time.

As a sniper, unless I feel that I'm extremely well hidden, then I will move after EVERY shot - unless the person I'm shooting at has yet to see where I am, then I finish them off and move. My favorite place to snipe is on 32 player karkand when MEC gets backed into the gatehouse - snipers paradise.

I rarely get in sniping positions. I just run around most of the time. But i dont run into the main battle. Go round the back or something. Thats the best thing.

Trust me, if you're good at the Sniper kit you can do VERY well in a round. There's a topic on these forums somewhere about close combat sniping or something. You need the M-95. I think........

i dont know your stats, but play the kit longer. i used to be the same way, but after playing with it for a while you learn the good spots, you get a better aim, you learn the strategies.... and pretty soon you'll get a gold from being a sniper round after round..... it's a beautiful thing....
