Many of you may have noticed some tension between pro-sniper and anti-sniper groups, (who could miss it?) so I was just wondering what kind of numbers are on each side. Not too much debate here, you can find that on the other 30 threads on this, no flame wars here. Let's see if some of these vocal groups actually have the numbers to back them up or are just bluffing.

I don't see why EVERYONE seems to bash the snipers! I can PERFECTLY live with them and I judge myself as an okay one while I don't ignore my times with the other classes. I think they are hated becasue of the claymore-overuse but that's not the sniper's problem. It was caused by the patch. The patch gave them effective claymores, that's why they are spammed now. If you give a gun to a criminal, you don't need to be surprised if he shoots you. A lot of the complains about snipers are also caused because there are people who don't know how to deal with them. They go like "Uh, they pwnd me, let's bash them even though I'M the one who allowed them to kill me". Be happy that the sniper rifles aren't like the ones in CS which kill you with a single shot into your ass!

I like to snipe, but some ppl just think they are so dam leet behing a sniper ALL THE TIME and they make a communinty! -.-'' and they separate them self from all other BF2 players thinking they are so super special and making 50 vids a week of headshots.............................

I don't have a problem with snipers. I love being one, even though I'm not very good at it. I don't see why some people have huge problems with a sniper though, other than the fact that I do think some of them tend to show a little more tude than others...........that gets kinda old, but still kinda funny.
