BF2S Forums Kicked Cause Clan Member Wanted His Clan Mate in Gunner Instead of Me

Dude you got to respect them though im sure if i paid x amount for a server i would want to get the most out of it. They could also be using teamspeak or ventrilo meaning they would work better as a team.

Yeah, if it was their server, it's their money going into it.

If someone tells me to bail out, I'm outta there. There's nothing worse than a pissy chopper pilot. Sulking at 100m off the ground will just get you both killed.

On the other hand, there's nothing better than a chopper pilot who actually lands next to you and yells "Hop in!", then proceeds to show that he is the dog's bollocks when it comes to piloting.

um, it's a clan. I'm sure there's always going to be plenty of members to start it. And all they have to do is recruit more people if there isn't. It's really simple. And good luck finding servers without clan members. They/we don't join to ruin your noob-ass game, kid. One of us joins and more get back from a real life and see us on xfire: "oh, he's playing Bf2, I'll join". Bam. It's just that simple.

Well when I joined there were 7 players. I looked at the scores.  0 0 0 0 0 . Cleaerly because there were not enough to players to start the game. I joined and made it 8 and the game started. Sure enough when I went and looked at that server refreshed. The scores were back to 0 0 0 0 0 . So the game stopped cause they kicked me. Kind of dumb to stop the game just cause your buddy didnt get the gunner seat with you, but whatever.

Yep, i know my clan does it, the TS that is, although the other day while me and a clan mate are flying we get rammed by this J-10, we were in a bad spot so i was like w/e but then we get back to the carrier and were waiting for our chopper when this fricking private comes up and stands with us. Somehow he managed to get pilot and i got gunner then he has the nerve to tell me to get out. He then proceded to do barrel rolls, loops, spins etc. Gave him a few warnings,"Fly or kick" but no he continued, that is untill he was kicked.

So, yes everyone should get a chance, but don't be a frickin asshat about it. People are paying for the servers that YOU use, if you dont like it use the EA official servers.

Yes but its not like I WAS an asshat about it. I am a First Ssergeant, so its not like they mistaked me for a n00b that would crash or not do anything. Plus I wasnt in the pilot seat I was just gunning. Hes the one that was the asshat for spamming and kicking me. I dont care how much you pay, to me you look like some whiney 5 year old if you kick cause you dont get your way.

The fact that they pay for the server doesn't mean shit. That doesn't give them the right to violate the ROE.

It all comes down to a matter of rank, the higher ranks get the chopper, and clan members should both be able to get in the chopper.  If i have some PFC noob that got into the chopper before my dad (yes, my dad plays BF2 with me), and doesn't get out, then I'll just take him for a trip to the edge of the map, give him a chance to bail out over a flag after 5 seconds, and if he doesn't, then you gets to go for the full 10 seconds.

If someone does get out for my dad or my brother or anyone else in my clan, then I'll give them the chopper if we die.  Also, I think that there should be some kind of rank requirement for being in a chopper.  I see these corporals and what not get in the chopper and then CRASH it, over and over and over again.  It's bad enough to be shot down by AA when you're in a chopper, but being shot down by a tree is just.. unbelievable.
Higher ranked players should have priority when it comes to anything.  Some non-coms do fly better then generals, but not many.

The only true solution that would make EVERYONE happy would be to have a remake of DC_NoFlyZone (20 jets on each side) or to have some kind of license system to get into vehicles.  And people with higher standings on the license should be able to kick out people in the chopper that are lower then them just by pressing "e," just like how it works on single player.  Except people get pissed off because they aren't flying. And we're back to the infallible option, a remake of DC_NoFlyZone.

Who goes by the ROE anywayz i break a rule everyday in the ROE so i dont give a crap about there stupid rules. The day i go by the ROE is when they stop fucking up the game with the new patches. Hail cougar with his post about the ROE.

Well if you dont like clans trying to play as a team in a server they own then go play the official EA servers. I know i can do twice as good talking to a clan member over teamspeak then a gunner getting in that has to spot the enemy. Theres more pro's about getting into a chopper with a clan member than there is with a non clan member.

The thing is you cant just say its a game and ranks didnt mean anything. Most people play for the best ranks at certain stuff battlefield 2 isnt just a game its a competition to become the best.

Well, if you are on our server (or we're on a server with you), we'll politely ask you to bail out. If you don't, we'll let you ride. OTOH, often clanmembers are on Vent/TS and communicate very well, which gives your team an advantage, if you are willing. The question that should be asked of you is, "Do you do everything for yourself (points) or do you try to win every round?"

Maybe you ARE a god gunner...I know I'm not. I can get some when I fly (39 kills on Dalian this am, for example, mostly with TVGs), but I'm always willing to let others play. I want to win and I don't care as much about my points or K...it's all about the winning for me.

Maybe you could do well in that seat...maybe you can't. They certainly shouldn't have kicked ya, tho...that's just lame.
