They should've made a left handed option. Heck, now that I look at it the whole game feels unnatural now. LEFT HANDERS UNITE!
If you think about it, while having left handed options would be cool for many, it would also double the amount of animations which would need to be stored into memory. Thus reducing overall performance. BF2 is already a memory pig, would you be willing to sacrifice a portion or your performance for this option?

You would not be able to use the SA80 (L85) left handed, the way the cases are ejected is on the right hand side so it would not be very nice getting hit in the head if you used it left handed!

I think it's a psychological thing for us to have it left-handed, it feels weird with my mouse-hand on the left side, but the gun on the right.

I don't think it matters. The crosshair is in the middle of the screen anyway. Not like it's biased towards either side.
I'm ambidextrous but typically use my left more than my right. It might take some getting used to with the animations on the right, but it's not like it affects your playing ability.
