Im afraid Brizzer lives in Indianapolis(spelt?) and I dont think he is experiencing the climate change.autopilot wrote:

Everyone experinces climate change including Indianapolis... Like for the past 4 years we have had mild winters with very little snow fall. We would normal get 12-24 inches a year in snow but its more like 4-8 now. I like snow too.
Edit: Global warming is general not something dramatic as 10-20 degrees increase its just enough of and increase to cause change.

alright, since effective rebuttals seem to be in short supply, let me point you in the direction of a possible argument. perhaps some of you would like to enlighten us how my v-8 is warming mars, or even show how a few billion humans are more powerful than the sun.

Lol, sorry man, my geography fails me. I thought Indianapolis was somewhere in the south. Please accept my apologies.Brizzzer wrote:

I just dont like the fact that USA is telling Europe that "You guys should avoid using cars and dont do any industrial parks and dont wast power"
Everyone knows that the worlds #1 carbonoxide producer is the USA so wtf are they talking about ?
And other prblem that people dont care about destroying the nature or cutting all rainforests..they just want money and quick. You know short period thoughts and plans. The thing "what will happen in 100 years ?"
"Who cares i wont be alive"...thats how those people think..

Go ahead and compare the weather to Mars but atleast start worrying about Earth first.kr@cker wrote:

Ok first the mars thing was related to the fact the sun is getting hotter during a phase. Secondly when you add in the natural green house effect produced by our atmosphere then couple billion people is magnified a shit load of times.kr@cker wrote:

I totally agree with you. Were do we get off on telling other people what to do when we go ahead and do it our selves. If we really want change we need to take the first step in doing so. Then I suspect the rest of the world will follow.venom6 wrote:

How can you proove that your v-8 is warming mars? There have been no records of tempature at certain dates there, and no source has been found from there yet. Your argument is not valid.kr@cker wrote:

Anyone who says that global warming isnt happening is wrong.
The question is are we making a substancial difference or not to the temperature of the planet.

I drive a (petrol) 4x4, smoke, leave the PC on overinght, and leave the windows open.
Screw you, hippies!

my point is that you need to prove that my v-8 is warming mars, since man is > than nature in your opinion.autopilot wrote:

there is proof that mars is warming, the polar caps getting smaller being one of them.
Its cool man I figured as much...teddy..jimmy wrote:

But, just like anything changing in this world it takes time and effort. It probably won't happen in the next 10 or 20 years but I suspect that we will be mostly independent of fossil fuels.
I need a source of that information which is not Fox news to you seriously at the moment.kr@cker wrote:

Edit: jimmanycricket's argument for Mars warming seems like a more possible reason that makes sence than the sun warming, the sun is a warm place and has been so for a long while.
Perhaps you are reffering to the Sun warming as a course of a star's life-cycle (Oh god how I hope you know that the sun is a star), anyways a star does live for a very long time.

whatare you on about, how do you know whats happening on mars to cause the rise in temperature, it could be simply the sun, but as mars is a volcanic planet there could have been underground explosions that cause greenhouse gasses, i dont know, but neither do you, so mars is not a valid argument.kr@cker wrote:

The reason mars is dead today is cause it does not have a magnetic field. This allows the suns radiation to destroy the planets atmosphere and bake the surface.
I don't really see what mars has to do with global warming on the earth. Lets deal with our own problems first then worry about an uninhabitable planet.
Well, there has been a new radical theory which makes global warming not the fault of Humans but rather the sun being extra warm for a while, this is supposedly prooven due to the fact that Mars is becoming warmer, a source is being waited for at the moment.Wicked_Wumpus wrote:

so basically it's not a valid argument because it blows yours out of the water?
let me make it real simple for the stoned hippies
earth=getting warmer, receives sunlight, has people
mars=getting warmer, receives sunlight, does not have people
both planets get warmer, both planets are exposed to sunlight, both planets do not have people
sun= global warming

"not fox news" lol
how about NASA? or are they right wing because of their government funding?
edit: the theory is not new or radical, as you can see some of the articles are several years old, but they don't support the global communist cause so they don't get publicity

sorry for being so snarky, really bad 2 days at work
Its just not that simple. Like I said before Mars does not have a magnetic field. Its what keeps most radiation from hitting the planet. Thats probably a good reason why there is no life on Mars. Of course earth does have a magnetic field so we are protected from the harsher of the radiations.
so why didn't the caps melt long ago or even form in the first place?
