We all know that you can change the localization files to your taste, but can you change the font size (without changing the screen resolution of course) so that messages don't appear as large as they're right now?
na i dont think so.
i dont even know how to cjange the "location files" or wutever the hell ur talkin about.
then why did you bother posting, dumbass?FAF-Teeje wrote:

I think you can because I've seen oversized text in the game as someones name, but to be honest I have no idea on how to do it.
You can set all the kill messages/hud messages to larger fonts, but nothing can be done about names
The only way to do so is to hax the megahurtz and violate the RoE

It would help already if the kill/hud messages appear in a smaller font, any idea how this works Sarrk?
Why do you need to make them smaller? They don't take up much room as it is and if you want to check a kill message it's already tricky to pick out the right one if they're scrolling up at any speed.
Because if you get a lot of messages it can be really disturbing and blocks the view. I don't care who i kill or who killed me, what awards i got, teampoints etc. If i want to read the kill messages, quickly switch to the console.
here you goFAF-Teeje wrote:

no, but it was just to show Teeje what the 'localization' files were, and how to mess with them.
Hold control + mouse wheel to change the size of the text
Well, that's how you change the font size in a web browser, but I think he was asking how you change the size of chat and kill messages within the game. I've looked around and haven't found anything. Is it possible to make that text size smaller? Those messages are annoying and cover up a lot of the screen.
