when i start the game it come the bf2 logo then the screen gets black and this comes up

Just run the full patch(1.3) and that should sort it out.
i think only 1 a full one

Just run the newest patch once more, use the full patch and not the incremental and that will hopefully sort this out for you.

When BF2 was updated you downloaded a patch that updated BF2 to the newer version. Run that patch again, do run the FULL 1.3 Patch if you don't have the full patch you can download it here :

Choose the first download called : Battlefield 2 v1.3 (438MB) and download it from EA. When you downloaded it then run it and that will hopefully fix your problem.
