As for the badge, I'd say just go into a near-empty pub and command or something, just for 33 minutes.  When you get it, just go afk until the round ends and you'll get it.

Why am I not getting the stinkin medal???

Also, I have 31 hours as engineer, 2,878 kills , and got more then 20 kills with a shotgun in one round. and STILL no veteran engineer badge. I'm haveing this same issue with my armor badge.  Is this a glitch or something??

kills with shotgun doenst matter, AT with DAO is also shotgun but won't count for engineer, just make pure 20 kills with engineer.

I have almost 90 hours logged as a Support class and no go on the vet badge.

Also the progress bar to the next rank is not visible anymore in the HQ section in game.

This patch has broken a lot of things as far as I can tell when it comes to the awards section.

you need to play on a small map with no time limit. I got a lot of my vet badges on Kubra, Clean Sweep and Sharqi - maps that have flags that change hands a lot means the game lasts longer. Also less players means less people to defend all flags so they change hands often. You can get kills in a chopper or armour and they count as long as you are in the kit you need the badge for.
