That doesn't work unless there is somebody in the vehicle.
It only counts towards accuracy when you get the hit indicator.

Why would someone go to those lengths to pad on Accuracy? I think we're all are asking that. This person must really be desperate to find something or anything he can get a good score on. lol I'm guessing 2 computers and 2 accounts and no life. How so? I have more than once account with global accuracy close to or over 40% (one is over 45%). This isn't hard if all you play is sniper since the vast bulk of your shots will be through a scope.

i still don't get how you accuracy-pad.. i mean, yeah, the guy was shooting at a Vodnik... and that's padding??? Maybe he was a n00b and thought he would kill it (if he really was using the PKM, he would've eventually, the PKM does damage faster to a Vodnik than a crate can heal it)

so if i randomly shoot at a passing Vodnik i'm padding?? WTF man?

so yeah... how DO you accuracy pad?

You can't judge "accuracy padders" by that. What if the person uses single-shot all the time, but doesn't aim for the torso or head?
