and jumping teams to get that ribbon is stupid, if your good your team wins whatever u do.... and if u win or lose... its a game remember...

What is it with the ribbon/badge things? Do we win? Do we get prizes? Seems like anyone cares about is the ribbon/badge stuff, just go in an have fun!

...That Ribbon is going to be Fixed Anyway, Once EA Relizes that "OH...Sh*t, only 300 People have it...out of 700,000 Accounts...hmmm, maybe were Stupid.

So don't worry about it, you Win Some You Lose The Same Ammount.

My Win Loss is 1.45, I don't care. Only time I care is when I lose when im Commanding, because I do a Super Amazing Job at Commanding, and its never my Fault.

Wow, yall missed the whole point of my post, I was pissed becuse I fly chopper all the time, and of my like 7100+ kills, I can only remember 2 being where someone died in the chopper from one of my rockets, as in the chopper didnt get damaged severaly, the rockets just killed the people inside.  SO what I was mad about, was that it happened to me at the start of a rounjd, and resulted in the opposing team having control of our helo just long enough for me to want to switch teams, and then we lost anyway, because stupid people occupy space in this world, that is, a commander is flying a helo and gets our main base lost because he is too musy being a bad pilot.   

My bigger complaint, is overall, the character of people that play the game, there are some great people out there, dont get me wrong.  I have met some people that are a ton of fun to play with, that are good gamers and good people.  But some people in this game really piss me off, and it's not because im losing at a game, it's because people like that exist that gets me so mad.  I never treat anyone bad, and always try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but people who go out and intentionally screw over their fellow players, it's just not right, and the people who have the power to stop them, EA/Dice, are so strangely quiet about it all, and that frustrates me.  I paid money to play this game and enjoy it, not to be TKed by some 12 year old kid that doesnt comprehend that he's ruining other people's enjoyment by TKing/being stupid.

Yes Commanders getting into much need vehicles and not doing their job is very annoying.  Its one thing to get into a vehicle when you have to support your team because either its a low population map or because you have to defend or retake a base by yourself or if you are trying to prevent enemy from stealing the vehicle for their own uses. However time and time again Commanders seem to want to join the fight for no other reason than to join the fight. They don't do their jobs or they do them half ass.

I have seen a few commanders that can fight and command effectively. I have just started doing this on a limited basis and only because I've gotten fairly good at switching commander screen and tactical screens. But I do not do this at all if I do not need to. Find a nice safe hole, keep an eye on your surroundings via zoomed in satelite map view. Do you job as Commander not as a Squad Leader, Member or Lone Wolf. Let your army do their jobs and in turn help them do it by doing yours.

As for getting blasted out of a vehicle from the get go.. shit happens. It sucks yes but eh. Good luck on that War College Ribbon.. I hear it's a mega bitch.

I feel your pain with the random strange in-chopper deaths.  I got hit with an m203 while in the chopper gunners seat flying over the crane in sharqi and got killed somehow.  However, you were talking about a lack of character in some players of bf2.  I think it shows an lack of character in YOU if you changed teams just to be on the winning side.  I think the ribbons are there as goals, if you can't get 18 knife kills in a round without joining a knife/pistol only server then you shouldn't get expert knife, if you can't get 37 explosives kills you shouldn't get expert explosives, can't get a 3:1 win ratio without always joining the winning side mid-round then you shouldn't get war college.  I know I will never have that kind of ratio.  I'm not teamwork oriented enough to help my team that much and don't deserve it.  But that's just how I feel, you can of course do what you want.

The 'commander' thing, I praised a commander the other day, he was excellent, supply drops, plenty of UAVs when we were about to do a CP... this guy was just fantastic. The game ended, we won (of course), new game starts and he doesn't want to be commander..... oh no!. No one else took it on so he switched teams, you can guess the rest

As for redfoxster getting all his medals and stuff... go for it. It's a game and sometimes I think that the ultimate achievement is getting all the, medals, ribbons, badges, awards. It is supposed to be a 'team' game, but be fair, how many times have we joined a server and although there are plenty of squads and such, most* of them are playing for one thing, their own goal

* I say most because 'some' others are fantastic teams
