I had a few rounds today and all my pilots suck. One pilot whom i thought was decent stabled the chopper and we got Towed. I told him to move around and he asked me why ??? Wtf?

thats nothing compared to the gronks that hop in when you're flying the heli that don't use the TV missiles when you line up a enemy heli perfectly. The tards just start with guns at them, wtf!
Well im a badass gunner and i had a guy on wake just fly around where no enemies were and just hover a while then when he would see the other attack copper would put the nose down and when we died he asked why didnt you TV missle him.....
I was pissed of course i had to TK him so i could get in the chopper myself and do my job and surpress choppers and tanks on the field.
And he would always try and TK me with the Hmmvee or anything else he could get a hold of. But in the end We won and i still got a good amount of kills solo TVing choppers and stuff.

I hate this, I am a good pilot and even better gunner, today I was on this server and honestly, I'd never seen such a bad gunner. ever.
The Cobra on sharqi lands for repairs so i line him up, he then proceeds to shoot it with the cannon...then reasing he actually has a TV missile is uses it and missed and the chopperw wasnt even moving. The cobra gets out the way and then shoots us down.
The amount of times he chose cannon over TV was stupid. In the end i gave up and left the server.

Yeha bad gunners too. I hate bad pilots, they spoil the day for the good gunner. Might as well i fly and solo tv.

By the way ? Do you get helo kills when using the gun or TV ? or support points ?
I don't use helos because all that TK is no fun. Also there are a lots of players who insist to fly alone

LOL, I had the exact opposite the other day, fling in the Mi-28 on Sharaqi my gunner refused to use anything BUT the TV, even on infantry, he just wouldnt plain shoot it..so i'd line up for a missile barrage and all of a sudden there goes a TV at a single infantry (he missed, of course) I was like, "OMGWTFBBQ, u have the best anti-infantry cannon in the game u noob, use it!!!" I usually try to give my gunners or pilots a chance, if they suck, I would switch, depeneding on whatever they were on last, then if they still suck, red zone for them, then soloing ftw! I'm still trying to master what the guy does on Duck and Cover, where he switches to the gunner seat and uses the gun on infantry while spinning around, that was awesome.
Some guy used polarbearz method of teamkilling against me. I was gunner, he was pilot and he flew to the out of bounds and i died. I bet he read that post bearz made.

people that can only gun annoy me, I always end up being the pilot. Even more annoying is when you get to the chopper and someone's (usually a noob gunner) already in the gunner's seat.

im not much of a pilot but yesterday i was flyin on dragon valley and the gunner used the gun on the linebacker which killed us and the same for the cobras so i gave up. the very few times i pilot i always get crap gunners. stick to familliar servers with the pilots you know are good i suppose

Yesterday i had a gunner Op Harvest that would not use tv's and shot every piece of armor with the gun. After i told him to stop shooting armor because it does nothing and it makes it hard to sneak up on them he stoped. I gave him a few pointers on tv shooting, line him up a few practice shots and by the end of the game we had pwned everything. i went 32-6 and he went 27-6 end game score.
Oh man, last night I had this gunner...I lined him up to take out the chopper, an APC or a tank. He could have taken out any of them. He didn't shoot a TV at either. Or the cannon. He just sat there. I hate that. Way to neuter your attack chopper.
I hear ya. I hate to use rank as an identifier but generally I'm better off alone in the chopper than with anyone under first sgt. It's just as bad when you're gunning for a blind pilot who run right into battle but never stops to let you kill aa turrets and doesn't gain enough altitude to fight the other chopper, or never even sees it fly overhead. But there are also several threads bitching about the same thing.

With how few pilots are good you only get a few gunners that are good and have experince witch makes the pilots just want to solo rather than deal with trying to work with idiots. I can fly fairly well I am just not that good at killing things as a pilot so I do need a good gunner. I will have to practice useing the TV solo.

Can't do it like that anymore. Heli will crash if you get out of pilots seat. Sure, you have a quick second to try, but the heli spins too fast (for me) to get any sort of decent shot off. That was one of the reasons they made air vehicles crash when the pilot jumped out or switched seats.Jello.01 wrote:

I can't even remember the last time I had a good gunner. All I do is line them up.....wait....wait....die. Get a different gunner, same thing.

I was playing Harvest Moon last night and I fly pretty well. The guy in the gunner seat actually complimented to me on my flying ability. I can Out maneuver AA pretty well. While trying to get the gunner lined up for the shot. I am not so good at the gunner spot.....but I can damn well fly a chopper really well. Anytime you see me I am willing to fly......Let me know. I have out maneuvered J-10's and Migs in the game. So...I am safe to say that I fly pretty well.
