Community Update - 5/24/06

Greetings Soldiers:

We would like to thank all of you for the massive success known as patch 1.3 and are working hard on the next installment.  Here are a few things you can expect to be included:

-Increased weapon accuracy

-Reduced hitpoints on all aircraft by 50%

-Removed TV missiles from helicopters

-Fixed "prone spamming"

-Increased splash damage on tank shells

-Increased damage on tank shells against infantry

-Tweaked the map Strike at Karkand, now 3 tanks and 6 APCs spawn at the USMC Gas Station flag to balance the map

-Added "tank drop" for commanders

-Increased the range of UAV scan by 200%

-Increased the jet count on Wake Island, now 5 jets spawn for each team

-Removed transport helicopters and boats from Wake Island

-Introduced a 75 point limit in a round to discourage stat padders

-Increased the flag capture time to 2 minutes, we feel that the game is still too fast-paced for teamwork to play a major role

well, first you forgot to change the date.  second, USMC doesnt have a factory flag in karkand unless its already been capped. third, whats the point?  still bitter about being wiped?

i am very very disappointed that they didn't take my emailled suggestion that all players simply spawn AS jets on Wake island, removing the need for kit selection altogether.
