With the vehicle drop I thought that you were able to drop tanks but seems not to be can someone fill me in what happened , map I play is wake island.

And whats with the medic paddles not working when trying to revive more than three people in a row ?

Did you forget about search while you were out?
Well, ok, since you've been gone:
No tanks. That would be lame. Only buggies/humvees/etc.
Medic was patched to keep people from padding with the revive scores...oh teh gayness.

This change has been introduced with V1.2, not 1.3.

Drop tanks? Are you that ignorant? Try dropping a tank in real life. All you'll get is a hunk of scrap metal and a crater.

Try dropping a jeep irl... All you'll get are a bunch of wheels.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't we drop armor units into water?  Or something like that ><

For fairness, the vehicle drop only does the trucks.  You use a medic bag every time you revive somebody so if you don't have any medpacs, then you won't be able to revive anybody until they're back up.

Here, ignorant hay here proof that tanks can be droped from planes .

PS. it was a Innocent question

Hi,  Yes you can drop a tank from an airplane. One of two ways, by parachute ( a very large one) or by lowering the planes back door and getting very low to the ground and pushing them out the back.
I do not have any pictures of this, but the museum has in its collection two tanks that were readily dropped this way.
An M56 Scorpion and an M551A1 Sheridan.  The scorpion did very well being dropped as it is made of aluminum, but the Sheridan had some problems due to the weight of the turret.  Seems that the landing was a bit much for the tank and many turrets ended up crushing the vehicle.
Hope this helps
Sincerely
Karen Gasser, Director
AAF Tank Museum
