I've had this confirmed today by someone at EA UK and it will be uploaded on Tuesday May 23rd. It's is from a very reliable source but that is all I can say for obvious reasons.

I'm concious I may get flamed for posting this but please leave that until after the 23rd if the patch isn't out; just wanted to let people know roughly how long to wait.

I did try to get the full change list but was told I was pushing it and lucky to get the release date...so I quickly shutup, not a good idea to piss off a good source.

Another sure fire way to piss off a good source - get sensitive infomation and immediately post it on one of the biggest bf2 forums around.

Lol, yeah well *shrugs*...

I did ask why they didn't just release the changelist and release dates from the outset and was told it's because they'd be inundated with requests to change things i.e current squadhopping issue. The release date is kept quiet because apparently DICE work on it right up to the last minute, even making changes after the beta tests so EA really have no idea when they'll receive it. Any change list is kind of redundant until the final version so I guess that's why they don't release the full versions except for things they know for sure are going to be changed.

I guess so but I didn't ask. It'd make sense though; release the patch on 23rd ( a tuesday, which is when EA do their backend server updates), have it tested by the public and then release Armoured Fury when it all looks A-OK.

I'll try and get the actual release date for Armoured Fury too, if there is one, but it'll have to be monday. I usually wait for these boosters to be played first, I never bothered with Euro Force because it sounded crap so I'll wait and see what people say about this one.

the only interesting thing about armored fury is the a-10,and the USI mod covered that pretty darn well.
