Hi

I wanted to know why this map is not played much, I enjoy night maps and this one is ok, but when I tried to play on a server running this map I could only find 2 servers and both had no one playing.

Ok its not your average Karkand map with fire fights all over the place but its good for sneaky attacks.

Will anyone be running this map on a server this weekend as I'm looking for some fun on this map.

I know I'm bringing up a different map, but since the topic seems to be evolving toward night maps in general......I will say my absolute favorite night map is Leviathan. I love choppers, and I've grown to have quite a fondness for the Longbow. What I like is that the buildings with ample roadspace for low maneuverability, pluse the cover of darkness makes this map prime for chopper sneak attacks. The AA vehicles never knew I was coming........and if they do.........all I have to do is drop quickly behind the cover of a building.

On a Levaithan map, I nabbed a score of 140-150.......don't remember precisely. The great thing was that it wasn't an overly long round. Not the kind of long round that typically nets that kind of score......further evidenced by the fact that the next highest score was I believe significanly sub-100. I was even amazed to hear a few people on the opposite team tell me that I was just "too damn good" in the apache........and needed to give them a break. This was a huge relief from the typical "You chopper whoring n00b....why don't you get on the ground and show some real skill?" (newsflash.....effective "chopper whoring" DOES take skill).

Anyway......I like the night maps for the cover they provide, particularly if it involves me in an Apache.

Night Flight is a good map... not my favorite though. I think my favorite night map is a 64 devil's perch.

SO MUCH FUN when you're rolling down the hills or battling it out in the little building structures/dock area thing.

Our gang...TOP tried a night map server with 64 players and it tanked. THen again it was only up for two days.

DPG tried it as well and it lasted only one night.

Sad. Night Flight is the best map ever.

i cant play night flight

it ALWAYS crashes..

Devils Perch and Leviathan work fine..

Night Flight = Crash after 2 mins..
fucking sucks..

I only had this problem after extended periods in the night vision while in the dark and then turning it off having my eyes adjust to see pitch black. Yeah that shit hurts.

We had a Night Map server for 2 weeks but found out it only lasted on the weekends. Right now we have it at City Maps, but will change it as soon as I get home from work. It will be 24/7 Night Maps (like it was) It will be up pending population. It will be a 3 round rotation per map, 32 player, because if you get higher than 50 you are asking for trouble on SF. And 32 is fine with me. If you want a peticular map or want less/more rounds or if you want just a peticular Map, let me know, then I'll change it for the weekend. Because as it stands that server will be an AF server. So I'll let it be a Night Map over the weekend and pending population...

This friggin' 1.3 patch is disconnecting so much its pissing me off! Its hard to keep populated!

The other one was 16 player and I cant handle that.
