Err...the carrier is called the USS Essex, not the "wasp".. and the gun is the Phalanx C-IWS.

The USS Essex is a Wasp-class amphibious assualt ship with mounted Phalanx CIWS.

I don't believe that the tank will or could ever appear on the carrier.  There used to be a joke on BF1942 about getting a jeep to the carrier but that involved driving it onto the wing of a plane or the use of C4 and a landing craft.

I have experienced some teleporting while alive on SF:Iron Gator, but not on any vanilla maps.   

PS- "Iron Gator" is the nickname for the Essex.

How is the Essex amphibious?

Yeah... If you edited the map you wouldn't be able to run it on a ranked server and have people join and play on it.

From what i know...

Ship in wake is an Essex class ship, but the mini-gun on that ship is called the Phalanx.
(in the game when you kill something with the Phalanx it says Essex. Because it is attached to ship and kills, but its not the gun that is the Essex)

TwistedX, somewhat correct.

USS Essex is the name of the ship.
Wasp is the class if the ship.
Phalanx is a type of interceptor gun. It is not manned, that big white cylinder is RADAR and other instruments. Entirely computerized IRL.

In my localization files I've changed it to Phalanx.

I don't know what you're on about, but the editor cannot make you switch teams whilst alive. Server settings FTW.

It's also called the essex in the .zips for game files. Dice also called the G3A3 the G3, but the M4A1 the M4A1. Dice is not consistent nor accurate. Get over it already.

If you're going to accuse someone of lying, know what you're talking about before hand.

I've seen this done (switched whilst alive and into same vehicle) and I've also personally been able to spawn with the AK-101 as USMC. There are plenty of glitches in the netcode, and I see this as possible.

Albeit rare.

well, i have to go to school now, but i will do it as soon as i get back. and i do use the editor yes, but i DID NOT edit this map, as i frankly don't know how. i know how to copy the map, and run it but all the textures come out black and all spawn points are missing. i use the editor to make OTHER maps, not edit these ones.

so, itl be around... maybe 5:00 GMT latest that the video will be put up, as long as i can get an admin.

show some switch on karkand too one of the mec spawned at the USMC and i kill him but still strange at the beginning of a new match

I also teleported on the Essex after a teamswap but instead of the Phalanx battery I was the gunner in a Big Palm tree and could only "swat" at low flying aircraft. 

I believe Keith Richards tried to climb up the trunk so I Tk'd him by dropping a salvo of coconuts on his nogin. He was trying to steal me Lucky Charms!!

This is rediculous. I have been an admin for a while on our server and when ever someone gets switched they have to die before it takes effect. I may be wrong(and I usually am), but this is the only way I know to team switch someone.
