when i join any battlefield special forces i get this messege
this server only allows players with unmodified content to join revert your version on battlefield 2 to the current official versions to join.
can some one please help

Let's assume you don't have any mod installed. Here is what you need to do. Clean install vanilla-BF2...restart, then install SF which will patch it to 1.1 I think. After doing that, I recommand another restart. Now time to patch 1.22 and another restart. If you un-install BF2, make sure to DELETE Battlefield 2 folder from My Documents. By the way, do you get this error mesege when you enter vanilla BF2 servers?

um what is vanilla um i only get it on all special forces maps and wake island and were do i find this vanilla thanks for your help

Vanilla is the regular BF2 and SF is the expansion. You must own regular BF2 to play SF. Do you have regular BF2 ?

You need to re install SF then apply the full 1.22 patch ...not the incremental

um well i have unistaled and reinstalled sf about 5 times and done the full 1.22 patch and then aplied it and i still get the same thing and yes i do have normal bf2

This worked on my computer.

- Remove BF2 and SF completely from your computer.
- Remove all registry files with cleaner.
- Install BF2 and SF and do 1 of these options:

a) If you have EF
Install full patch 1.21, install EF, install patch 1.22 incremental

b) If you don't have EF
Install full patch 1.22

uninstall both of them or try to clean your BF2 cache!

1. uninstall BF2 and SF
2. clear BF2 cache
3. install BF2
4. install SF
5. patch 1.22 full
6. install EF (if you have it)

you all do wrong... it is like this..                                                                                                                                                                                             1.install bf2  2.install 1.21 FULL  3.install SF  4.1.22 FULL ...you dont need to restart the pc..
