Missing a few important names here folks.

Trying to read the stats intelligently and balancing out a few things I'd say G.J.Ingram, with ChikyuuShoujoArujuna a close second. Ingram is hard to top - global K/D ratio is 2.11, sniper-rifle K/D ratio is 2.65; accuracy is 50% for 22,250 kills!

In terms of maintained accuracy with a high score, AzN_Cowb0y... fifty-freakin-seven! With 11,343 kills over less than 200 hours play. As great as Buzz and DirtRacer90 are that's nothing compared to this.

I don't know how the top snipers actually play but for fighting up close and personal maybe Nyte - his accuracy considering the way he's supposed to play as a rule is incredible. However AzN_Cowb0y's SPM is even higher than Nyte's with almost no time in armour or any vehicles so he may play aggressively too.

Books is being waaaaay too modest, his accuracy is higher than Sinny's by a fairly significant margin. And that's not all, his sniper-rifle K/D ratio is 6.43!! That's just... amazing. I imagine that might be as high as it gets.

Purely on score though it's -=|LEG|***|Weigon=- His accuracy is 'only' 47% (lowish in this illustrious company) but still, 24,000 sniper-rifle kills.

And honourable mention to my friend and sniping mentor who doesn't play nearly as much as he should - running headshot ranged at 320m puts him in the upper league IMB

Too be honest I am gratfull I am even on the list, remember there will always be people with "more kills" and "better ratios" but only because they have been playing longer, simple. I would have too say Towley though, we were in a squad recently and he ripped through about 6 soldiers in 6 seconds, and he even blammed Nyte with an SVD. Together we are "godlike"

From the people who post here, I've gotta say that Books is way too modest, and I'd have to go with him.  I'm surprised that he's not listed as higher on the poll, but I think that has to do with how "loud" personalities/attitudes gain attention.  SinnFein and Tahadar also have some very respectable sniper scores.  Buzz (or userbuzz) also has some nice looking scores.  With the sniper kit, Nyte's definitely also got a respectable score, but the thing that gets me with his scores is that about 45% of his kills are made with the sniper rifle (and a little over 53% with "sniper-only" weapons).

I'd have to say that kills to deaths with not only the sniper kit, but in comparison to use of the sniper rifle k:d (and accuracy), are what I would use to judge sniper ability.  Too bad it doesn't show Score Per Minute with the Sniper kit as well, because that would also be another good basis for comparison (and would probably show Nyte's strength with the kit).

Needless to say, I'd love to see Books, Sinn, and Tahadar in action, in person.  Maybe I'll have to drop into one of their servers sometime.

I must admit I'm beside meself, even when I was ranked #3 or #4 with the Sniper rifle, Books had 2x's my k/d and a better accuracy. He IMHO w/out a doubt deserves (but if I know him, he wouldn't feel the title was his) to be acknowledged as the best..IMHO

I had to vote for my boy Books, but [GDC]SinnFein deserves a mention too.

All though my ego cannot take another instance of me sniping with or against those two.

I remember one round where it was Sinny at 30 or so kills in the round Books wasn't that far behind, and me being tail end Charlie at 6 or 7.  Felt like a I should have been sitting at the kiddie table asking for seconds on the turkey...
