Haven't had any expierence with any of those. Just have my Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse here, I like it though, it fits my hands perfectly. I would go with the Razer Copperhead, because it looks cool.
It does look cool...VERY cool
G5
I have Logitech MX1000 woot... so comfy

Best gaming mouse goes to the G5 or the G7 (just wire or wireless) Razer's are also good mouses for the budget users but Logitech makes the best mice. FOr mainstream, anything Logitech is good. Microsoft are bleh, but they aren't bad either. I prefer Logitech.
I have a Razer Diamondback and I love it. It is comfortable and fast. I hear the new Copperhead is supposed to be a lot better than the Diamondback, but less comfortable than it.
I also have a diamondback, and have tried the copperhead. I'm not exactly sure how you can say that the copperhead is less comfortable though, as they are pretty much identically shaped. As far as I know the only differences are the hardware and the side buttons (which were vastly improved over the diamondback rocker buttons.)Ditsch wrote:

My vote is for the copperhead.
The logitech G5 is a nice mouse a friend of mine has it. I have the logitech MX518 and absolutely love the thing. So i would suggest the MX518 over the G5. Mainly because i love the feature that allows me to switch the tracking speed on the fly in game. This allows me to have seperate tracking rates for my infantry weapons and vehicles. Giving me the ability to whip the tanks turret around much quicker.
Anyhow i would go with the logitech.

G5 is the best mouse ever, seriously. I love mine.
As for it vs. the Copperhead, it all comes down to which feel you like better as they use the same hardware. The G5 is only for right-handers and one side button, but it has +/- buttons, feels better IMO, etc.
The Copperhead is often reviewed as feeling crappy and having horrid side button placement.
Oh, and about the single side button -- it was the only thing that made me not buy it without a second thought. However, after using the mouse for a while, I can defintely say that I don't care about the side button. I literally never use it now. Instead, I've gone to binding stuff ingame and my back/forward in Windows to side click of the scroll wheel. I know that sounds weird at first, but it really is nice!
And here's some reviews of the G5 and Copperhead:

Uh, the G5/G7 has those and to a better degree as well. 400 DPI through 2000 DPI.WormGuts wrote:

lol stupid question will i need a mouse mat? the optical mouse i use now works well on my desk without anything.
I use both but depending on the mouse sensitivity and the Mouse Laser DPI, I use either the pad or a desktop. It is more personal preference.
g5 all the way
up to u fella. Just go to a store and try the feeling of both of them. i personally havea copperhead and i like it alot.
G5.
Take a coppperhead, make it ergonomical, give it a standard weight tray (with the copperhead, you have to buy a "pro kit" which voids your warranty.), better texture, lighter buttons and minus the flashy lights, and you get the G5.
I've tried the copperhead after using the G5 for some time and can say it doesn't compare. I brought my comp over to a friends house for a mini LAN and let him use my G5 (he had copperhead) and the next time I came over he had a G5.

Well G5 seems to be the favourite so far. I think i will get the G5, but...
Coperhead its the swettes mouse ever.. (personal opinion), if you got it make shure of have the exactmat X control mouse pad.

I voted for the G5 for you, but I use the G7 and don't know how I played without it. For one, NO CORD! I can't tell you the number of times I've had a shot screwed up because the cord got caught on something or other. Plus, the G7 comes with two batteries, so while you're using one, the other ones charging, and you can quick change them in like 15 seconds. Just wait until you have to respawn and BAM! you're still in the game!
I actually bought the Copperhead first, but it was much smaller. It really depends on how you game. If you mouse with only your fingertips, the Copperhead is for you. If you prefer to have the mouse in the palm of your hand, go with the Logitech.

IMO anyone that would buy a mouse because simply because someone recomended it, is crazy. Try em out! then decide.
No shop in England as far as i know has a coppehead actually in the shop, however i have sortta held the G5Snipedya14 wrote:

my vote goes for Logitech. They have excellent peripheals and I am on my 4th mouse from them [not for bad reasons]. I have held a razor mouse and my hand just didn't feel right on it, although my hand fits perfectly on my MX510 and other applicable mice from Logitech with a similar design.
I sent my copperhead back. I didnt like it at all. The edge is very uncomfortable....
edit 4 extra info: I would purchase through newegg so you can return it hassle free if you decide you don't like it.

I have heard that the G5 is good. However, I don't like that they removed one of the side buttons. I have an MX518, and I use every button. (I love the 518 BTW) Don't know what they were thinking...
Yup, The 518 is a great mouseatlvolunteer wrote:

The Creative Fatal1ty 2020 is supposed to have insane sensitivity. Unfortunately, you'll probably be spending $20 extra bucks just to have that geek's name on your hardware. Sponsorship like that has always irritated me.
