Its way too easy to kill a lot of guys in a plane, ok its fun and all this, and it boosts up your stats, but it happens also that i got killed lots of times by a jet while i'm on the ground. Then i think by myself, omfg, those pilots are such noobs, it takes no skill to do that whatsoever. And it really becomes frustrating when on the next map the pilot is the same pilot that killed you over and over again the map before. Like i said, i also do get in a jet, but i also fight on the ground.
So to all the jet whores out there, you are noobs with no skill, earning your points and kills with nothing more than a single push on the mouse button. Give it a try on the ground and i'll own your chicken ass.

I love wake island, AH on chinese side stops USMC getting on land hover between the two ends of the island and wait for the full black hawks and boats to come flowing!

The Cobra can help the USMC get on land by eliminating AA and Tanks that stick themselves on the edges.
What annoys me is how hardly anyone knows this and often just them to base rape or not even bother with AA only to get shot down by it within 10 seconds of taking off.

It requires teamplay to succeed as USMC, maybe more than any other map. I've lost count of the numbers of time I've managed to cap a flag behind the enemy lines and asking for support while my team keep spawning on the arty island as M95 toting sn1pez0rz. Yeah I don't really like Wake Island as far as actual gameplay. It's not bad when the USMC gets a flag on the island, but until then it's shit.

That just goes to show that the jets are way too invincible still. I am, however, against changing things again. If anything, I feel there should be one invincible flying death machine per 50 tickets or so.

I play on Wake often and there are a lot of plane whores. It's annoying getting killed by the same guy 10 times in a round but I just cap all the flags from under them as they fly around in their gay little planes.

Stryyker, I'm fairly sure I've played both with and against you mate, and I'll say this, you're a good person to have a game with. Also, don't pay attention to any of those wankers. They've got nothing else to do other than complain about people who actually bother to use their brains while playing.
