Having been in the army and actually messed with claymores, the US version says "THIS SIDE TOWARDS ENEMY". Of course we always got chuckles out of that one when I was in, if you aren't smart enuff to know the working end of a claymore, why be entrusted with one, lol.
Of course before the patch there were quit a few which didn't know which side was the working end...

and I'd rather be near them- you can take them down when you're engineer if you go towards them from the sides or back and wrench it.
