everybody knows that firestorm got reset. now his a piss ass private.
then i look at people with this million point exploit and they are the top 10 of the world in a few months.
seeing these exploits, teamgod ranting that they hacked into www.bf2s.com during april fools days, and watching hacks like aimbot, godjoey and his multiple rocket laucher made me think about how people are going to such lengths to inflating their video game ego. like that is going to help them anytime soon with a career, job or education. if people cheat like this then they have no accomplishments at all to be proud of.
judging by the enormous amouts of cheats and exploits that have come out in the last three months, this game is starting to go down the tube and faster that anyone expected. i love battlefield2 and it is my favorite online shooter game. it is starting to feel like counter strike source where cheating is so rampant that there is no stoping people from hacking and making speed shooting hax. people would spend a crap load of money for that stupidity.
sometimes i do get carried away with my ego, and i appologize for that. but i dont let my ego get me into hacking trouble.
i have played blizzard games (ex: world of warcraft, diablo, starcraft) all throughout my life. They have one philosophy when it comes to cheating which i love :YOU CHEAT AN INCH AND YOU ARE GONE (hardware ban and all) . thats very simple . no ifs ands or buts. They closed down 18,000 accounts when i used to play warcraft III. all of those accounts were closed in one blast. ALthough blizzard sometimes creates issues in the game such as world of warcraft, cheating is forbidden and that is why i like about blizzard. world of warcraft may cost $15 per month but at least they have "police" especially the GM's there. at least the game is clean for the most part.
punkbuster has not done its job like the way it used to. everyone can agree to that. what ends up happening is that EA/DICE is going to spend more time and money making the game as cheatproof as much as they can.. end result, future crappy games. In the end, people like you and me pay the price because some dickwad in teamgod ( godjoey) sits his ass all day long and comes up with some crap that is designed to destroy the fun and excitement of battlefield 2. if godjoey, godkevin and all of those people in teamgod.net are soo smart, why cant they use that smarts to better themselves in the game legitmately or even better themselves in real life instead of fucking up someones hard earned work and fun.
i know this thread is too long for some of you.. and i appologize. but i have to get this off my chest..
