The extentions are excelent and theirs virtually nothing that opera or avant browser can do that Firefox wont given the right extentions. The code has gotten much better at rendering the ie specific pages and it is the fastest most secure browser right now. Absolutly my pic.

IE7 The new IE owns Firefox all the way. I used to be a avid firefox user, but then on window update, I was amazed at the new one. It is so good, you guys at least need to try it.

I dont care about security of IE7 at all. It can be full of holes and bugs. BUT it HAS TO interpret HTML/CSS/PNG/Javascript/... properly! It must not hinder web designers in their crativity because 80% of 'humanity' uses it.
I would like to use only Netscape or Firefox, but, I need to use IE6 to access some bank pages and other secure pages.
I use IE6. I've used *most* all other browsers. I use IE by choice. Just like I use Windows by choice. I hate change. I'm used to it. I have good A.V. and A.S. and all my Microsoft updates. I surf porn more than I play BF2 and I don't get viruses or anything else. I guess I'm not worried about security because I can fix it if it breaks (I use the Windows firewall and a hardware firewall). IE is the fastest loading browser (because it's embedded into the Windows operating system) and *almost* all websites are tested with it as "the standard/benchmark". Why fuck around with beta shit? I'm not dogging anyone here for using anything else, just in my mind, IE rules. All arguments for using other browsers are the same arguments MAC users use to promote how cool they are for using something other than Windows. Null in my mind. They might be better at *something* but for what I do with my browser (surfing), there is nothing better.

I disagree. One of the reasons I like Firefox is because it makes surfing so easy. Especially with tabbed browsing (which IE 7 will be copying) and extensions. I agree with you on the apple thing, because in my opinion Windows just owns Mac. But in this case, I had to acknowledge that Firefox was better than IE, even though I was a bit skeptical when I first downloaded it.King_County_Downy wrote:
