You may or may not still want to discuss the ever-recurring topic of baserape within BF2 but either way you might like this.

I'm pretty sure most regulars to all popular BF2 forums (and certainly the admins and moderators) have read and contributed to many baserape / anti-baserape threads. I know I have, I've even started a couple. After the forth or fifth you become pretty sure that every angle of the topic has been completely probed and prodded and think that you should never have to read another baserape thread in your life...
..but no, they keep coming.

Well, I've decided to try and do something about it and created baseraping.co.uk.

--If you have had enough of baserape threads tell people to take their fascination with the subject there and leave you in peace.
--If you actually want to discuss the issue (or anything else for that matter) then go there and do it rather than cluttering up this fine forum.

Good idea or total waste of time & effort?

Nah, they never get old.

Base raping is one of the few fine things that will always be around, regardless of what they nerf. And as long as it's around, people will complain, and as long as they complain, I don't have to pay so much attention to my job. Hurray for base raping whiners!

Oh! And I almost forgot, I love it when people refer to it as "base rapping".

Ontopic - great idea, but you'll work your ass off trying to get all the over discussed threads transfered out.

Off topic - Base rapping? Like some really bad gamer video on BET? Or Base Wrapping? Like T.P.ing an uncap? Eggs on the APC windows and flaming dog doodie bags near all the ground defense guns?

I think "base rapping" is just one of the more common mistakes in spelling for the non-native english speakers.

reason they closed thread is because everything that could have been said on the issue of base/spawn rape was said on that thread. if you would like another issue to bitch, try statpadding or PKM
