Now all we need is a TeamSpeak server. You know since it doesn't take a lot of processing time or bandwidth it could be technically run on the same machine maybe. I know some people actually run a small one off their own home computers so it can't be that intensive of a program.

I'm interested to see what kindof ping I shoot with the gibson.  I played in the EU server the other and rated 150's.  It wasn't too bad, but I couldn't speak over voip at all.  Not sure if that was connection or programming.

On a side note, I think it should still be ranked.  I really don't mind takin hits to my stats if it's a worthy opponent.  (by the by, Skruples & (EUS)Gen.BadSnipaDay - if ya ever need a gunner, let me know. You guys fly really well!) 
With autobalance on, would it be stacked?  I'm not so concerned with my precious stats that a good game with good friends can't be accomodated.  If worse comes to worse, I'll suck it up and switch sides to make it even.  Hopefully other bf2sers will squad up with me and we'll make a stand.

Like I said in my previous post, the game was most fun when we had good amounts of [bf2s]ers on both sides. I think by keeping it un-ranked it will make it easier to prevent teams from stacking.

Awww, leave it ranked, I'll go on the losing team. Although whatever team I'm not on will be the losing team, so I'll switch alot...

Looked really fun. Wish I could have been there. Curse crappy computers! Curse this curse which befallest me! My whole life I've had to deal with crappy computers!

Oh well.

Anyway, if people are going on tomorrow, (tomorrow for me - Wednesday,) in other words in aproximatly 13 and a half hours time I'll be playing then. I'm not holding my breath. I AM holding my wallet though, money seems to fall out of it a lot. I AM saving for a computer and I AM going to get a job... next week... after my assignments are done...  I swear, this time I'm not lying...

For all of you who have family and kids, you might relate to my Saturday nights.  They are now commonly referred to as "Dave's computer gaming night".  After a full day of playing "taxi", carting kids to and from, taking care of household chores, keeping up with two dogs, and managing 3 meals for a family of 4, all on my day off....

8:30 pm is my happy time.  The Bill Miller mug ({M5}Sniper3 probably has one too) gets filled to the brim with a frosty cold beverage of my liking, the office door closes, the Alienware boots up, and all the family members find other things to do that don't involve me.   Ahhhhhhhh........  Killin time.   

I loves me some Saturday night.

i've had a bit of trouble following if someone could clear a few things up. is there an spm and k/d requirement since mine is under most peoples suggestions k/d .75 and spm of 1.7. Is there any restriction to having bf2s as a tag and is there an possibility of a server near australia for those of us downunder.

It was so surreal playing with a bunch of legends from BF2S.  By "surreal", I mean, "oww, my ass hurts from all the hardcore pwnage".  I may yet become a regular on the Gibson server though...the camraderie is well worth the downwards plunge in my SPM and K/D.

Seeings how I am a BF2s member and I know how serious you guys are taking 'getting' together, all under the unified bf2s band of brothers. I'm quite sure each of you wouldn't want bf2s 'tag' or name to be tarnished in any way (esp. chuy and all his admins/donators). Sooo. when I ran into a possible 'pistol/knife server' last evening and saw someone wearing your tags I was a little surprised. Please, if your going to wear BF2s tags remember that you represent us to anyone that reads your name...Acting the maggot in a stat-padding illegal ROE server isn't doing us any good. just my .02:)
