Guys,
I've fallen into the unfortunate category of folks who have had problems with 1.21. I did the complete uninstall/reinstall and applied the full 1.21 patch. I'm back to seeing 3700 servers and can connect without the 'modified content' error. So that's fine, but we have a new wrinkle:
If I start BF2 it hangs at the spash screen indefinitely. When I was having incremental 1.21 issues, it would only do this intermittently. Now, every single time. I can start SF with no problem whatsoever.
So until I get this fixed, I can only pwn SF noobs......sigh.
