I bought it in a small shop in my hometown, not from a large retailer like EB-Games. Inside the package, there is only one little piece of paper with my serial number on it. I had to go to http://downloader.ea.com/codes/de/bf2euro , go check for yourself, if you still don't believe me. I would never post anything about this, if I hadn't obtained it officially!

I would prefer to buy this from a shop. I despise stuff like the EA downloader, steam etc.

If EA release it via the EA downloader only in the UK then I won't buy, if they release it in the shops i'll buy it. (probably)

I've not yet gotten around to playing special forces yet. (well, I went into it for a short period in order to get the unlocks) Funny really, I bought BF2 and SF together.

It looks like it is only a downloadable booster pack. NO CD. Sorry guys. Looks like you will have to download it. That is what they said. It is only available via the downloader.

That's right, you always have to download it, if you want to have it. Anyway, the download was very fast (~700kb/sec.).

But they do sell the code in a regular DVD box in stores over here in Germany. Officially they say they couldn't provide an appropriate payment service for the German customers (credit cards are not even remotely as popular over here as they are anywhere else).

Maybe EA thinks Germans are the perfect "test audience". If Euroforce is kinda fucked up we are faaar away from EA hometown if we wanna complain.... ;-)

I think so...it´s an add-on to normal BF2, so why not ?
