I was just wondering how many players go into a round with the intention of getting more than one badge/ribbon.

I usually don't intentionally try to get badges or ribbons because I'd rather be doing whatever it takes for my team to win, but when I do I try to double them up if possible.

Just recently I was about to get my next rank so I decided I should probably get my knife and pistol badges so that I could make First Sergeant. So I found a Sharqi server that just started and decided I would try to get both at the same time. Since I already had more than 50 knife kills I went straight past my basic knife and got my veteran knife badge within the first 10 minutes. Next I started going for my basic pistol. I got the first 4 kills without much difficulty, but then had a hard time finding anyone in range. There were lots of snipers, which aren't exactly the easist targets to pick off from a distance with the medic pistol. With only 3 tickets left for the other team the round was almost over and I was still desperate to get  one more pistol kill, but there was no one in sight at all. Just then an enemy spawned in directly in front of me with his head positioned between my crosshairs. Merry Christmas! I popped him quickly and got the basic pistol just before the round ended.

The funny thing is, even going for my knife and pistol badge I still got silver on the server and had the second highest KD ratio. Makes me wonder what kind of damage I could have done if I was using more deadly weapons.

I was wondering how many other players have had similar experiences or try to double or triple up their badges/ribbons in the same round.

What are you just trying to make me feel bad?

I often find myself getting multiple badges in a round, either because they are easy ones, or because a particularly good round yields awards.

as for me, Well i join a 32 players Wake Island only server. I started playin without any goals to achieved unless to have some fun and get some good points.

Start the round no was commander for the USMC so i jumped on it and got it. My artilery was  busted so i drove to that island as an engineer an repaired it. Then sat in the Stinger and started commanding.

After awhile of using artilerry on good targets I received My vet engineer badge. then my Air-defense Ribbon and after awhile i received a promotion to Staff-Sergeant and finished the roudn with a gold medal ...that round made my day lol.

i got like 4 badges and 2 ribbons in one round once, but it was because i had the rank glich (shows you as private) and i got al those basic badges and some ribbons
i have got 2 expert badges in one round the expert spec ops combat badge and the exper spec ops expetialist combat badge
the other times i have got 2 awards has been pure luck, like when i got expert sniper badge and good conduct medal, i was going for the expert sniper, but also i got the good conduct medal and i didn't know i had met the requieretmens

That's impressive. I don't think I'd do very well at commanding and going for my knife badge at the same time.

I needed basic knife and engineer, so went for it in one round, got them both at the exactly the same time, my 7th knife kill and my 10th engineer kill were the same lol, next time i go home ill finally rank up to first sergent.  Also the round after I got vet assault and the next one armoured service ribbon, was fun!

Have not been playing that long and dont usually play FPS games (you can tell by my shit stats) one night I was going out and decided to play a quick round or two before I left.  That was where things clicked for me and I ended up getting a promotion and five badges in one round.  My stats are on the way up, and that was the start of it.

I like when u go into a match not expecting to get anything and u get a new award! like yesterday i got the crew service ribbon just flying around with some guy in a chopter, pretty cool because i had tried to get it before without success

After many long rounds and more deaths than kills, I was bound and determined to get my last two missing BF badges-- my Knife and Pistol.  I already knew that I would get my Vet of both if I could just manage to keep with it. So in one round I got both!  As an Added bonus I got the Combat and Marksman Infantry awards! One of the best days I ever had playing BF2.  Of course with 1.2, no great screenies in action, oh well.

3. Basic Knife Badge

Well I once went on a server and it messed up my rank but I didnt care and I got 3 basic badges and once I got 2 medals in around but those were the Combat and marksman infantry medal and u get those together most of the time when U have all veteran kit badges so that one was pretty easy

Support and Combat Support in 1 round was the best I ever did. Did it on Wake too.

I got my combat action ribbon and armored service ribbon in the same round. Was only trying to get the combat action ribbon as the only way I get 20 or more kills in a round is as commander.  I ended up with 77 pts and 23 kills.

I got my basic special forces combat badge and my special ops specialist badge  when I killed 3 people in a blackhawk, just blindly firing the rifle into it as it flew overhead.  That was a great moment when I saw those appear.

well some badges are harder to get than others and quite a lot involve playing for weeks, not just hours!
