E: problem with a Golf is that its not fast (there are a lot of fast one's but if you buy a second hand one thats been suped up its probably gonna explode after 2 miles). The Fiero, despite being ugly as shit but cool as hell is pretty fast. Downside is of course that it doesnt have a backseat.

engines were deballed in the 70's and 80's. low compression, very lean, restricted carburetion and very delicate and inefficient catalytic converters were the cheapest ways early on get american cars to meed emissions spsecs -without having to actually waste money on developing new technology. the japanese spent all the money developing modern car tech back then which is why they dominate today.ghettoperson wrote:

Gotta let the new civics grow on you, I love the Ep3 (2004) Si Model, as well as the 2006 model. But Honestly, the 90's were honda's hayday. Tuning scene was huge back then. I just want them to come out with atleast one car that is tuner friendly. New civic's are cool n all with the K20, but it's no B16. They were smart though, built a massive base of tuners and fans of the company in the 90s, then as people grew up and had families they made their shit family friendly.
You're comparing different ratings (BHP vs SAE Net HP), plus 5-liter 412 HP isn't the "newest baddest" Mustang. I'd be happy with either car.iceman785 wrote:
