2 words, Anger Management.
Holy fuck, how weird: That's the EXACT same thing I thought of writing when I saw the title of this thread on the front page, even with the 'two words' part!

Dude who snapped your CD, I agree with what Trigger #2 said. You're going to wish you hadn't, that was a really stupid thing to do. If you felt that you didn't want to play it any more you could have simply put away the disk and stopped playing. This would mean if you ever felt like it you could go back and start playing again. I find that with things I give away. I gave a 'Limp Bizkit' CD to a friend who liked that shit, but after a while I felt myself wanting to listen to it again. Of alll things! Limp Bizkit!
You know there a few types of game players and here's two; there's the one who is simply blown over by the fact that the game is so totally awesome, and there is the one who dosn't really care how good a game is, they have fun, but always spot and are frustrated by the bugs. The first type often get hopelessly addicted to the game, while the second type end up snapping their game CDs, or microwaving them.
I think the way I turned out is largly for the fact that I've spent most of my life in a computer-gaming wasteland. My parents never cared for awesomly fast and high powered machines, and I sure as Hell couldn't afford them. So I was brought up on crappy games and crappy games only, (Pacman, Paganitzu, Paratrooper - all the 'p's, oh and Age of Empires Rise of Rome gold edition, that was the bes one.). This meant, that the first time I tried an actual goood game, (it was BF1942,) I was so freakin' amazed. I remember shooting someone until the body disapeared because I thought that the game was so good that people could play dead or something.
This has made me very accepting of bugs. I notice them every so often, but it dosn't get on my nerves as such.
See, I'm willing to bet that you've played only decent games - the latest thing you know? This means that the gimmick of excellent graphics, or the fact that pointing and clicking does something more entertaining that watching a guy move, is lost on you. This means your mind is more open to see the bugs and glitches that I don't.
Honestly, I reckon I have it better, although I have to watch myself to check that I don't get addicted. I think though, that I get the most enjoyment out of games, and I don't think I would ever smash a disk through frustration.
Anyway, BF2 is a work in progress. They're making patches and fixing bugs and adding stuff all the time. Sure we complain a lot, but i think we all just need to chill out and realise that nothing in life is perfect and we should all just learn to live with it and accept what we can't change.
Especially you HCH.
