It used to be 36 even but the I got killed setting up a Claymore and then had 2 deaths using Claymore
It is very easy to get a high K/D ratio using Claymores but not the way a lot of people use them after 1.2

thx, as long as u are conscience of staying alive while holding the claymores out and switching weapons as soon as you've set the explosive, ur stats will improve dramatically.delta4bravo*nl* wrote:

Ratio is terrible because I had them in hand all the time because I used to use them offensively.
Of course, I've only gotten about 100 more kills with claymores since 1.2. Right before 1.2, I found the secret fun that was the Claymore. Pre-1.2, NOBODY used them offensively. I decided to try going for my vet explosives badge with Claymores and I got it in 2 tries. After that, I had a blast getting gold medals using only claymores on Karkand. Almost got my expert explosives with Claymores(35 kills in a round, just 2 short ). Unfortunately, after 1.2, they are now the new C4, which I knew they would be since they are indestructible AND non-FF(should be just non-FF IMHO). It's amazing how easy it is now to get gold medals with Claymores. Pre-1.2, I felt it was an accomplishment to get gold medals with them. Now it's just a given . Hopefully they'll remove one of the two things that makes the Claymores overused right now.
On a side note, last night was the first time someone came close to calling me a Claywhore. Only a matter of time really. What did he say? Oh yeah.... "Jobarra, stop with the Claymores and get some skills"

Well, with the new patch, you can pretty much lay them anywhere . That's what was so fun to me about the Claymores pre-1.2, you had to think offensively, because if you didn't, you would get TKs from idiotic teammates. To be honest, the best I could do with C4 was to use the C4 jeeps. I never got how people tossed it, and it was pretty overpowered in that capacity. I just decided to use Claymores because hardly anyone used them at that time. I was hoping to get a huge kill count with them to at least be first globally in them, but now with the patch, I don't think that's possible since they are the new C4 . Oh well, had something like 950 kills pre patch in about 5 hours of usage, and the number one sniper only had about 1600. Don't know if anyone else used the Claymores like I did. Maybe if they revert one of the changes in 1.21, I'll write a guide about it. Was going to do it pre-patch, but they are just no-brainers to use nowWaGoN_aTTacK wrote:
