Original Thread Read it and please vote if you like the idea or not.

I mean someone help me understand something.  How can they be making BF3 when BF2 is not complete?  BF2 is still missing a fully functional, non beta map editor.  Which we never received and, it's been nearly a year later.

That is retarded. They need to just make BF3 another modern combat game with upgraded graphics and more realistic gameplay in like 2008.

DICE have registered all the way upto about BF9, this is common practice for a company with brand which has a possible future series.

I won't be buying BF3 (2142) until the devs have proven they can fix all the bugs in BF2, they seem to have a big problem with patches and beta testing them, the latest patch balanced the game a lot but introduced more bugs that it seemed to fix.

Nope.  Why?  Because I am done upgrading my computer just to keep up with games.  Once people leave BF2 a barron waste land just like what happened to Joint Ops when BF2 came out, I will buy the new playstation and use my computer for my investing and porn.

Depending on how much time there is between the releases I might just stick with BF2 until BF4 comes out; afterall, people are still playing BF42. However, if BF2 still has a good amount of time left before it gets overrun by BF3 then I will probably be looking for something new by the time of the release.

I probably will. THe bugs in the game don't really bother me. I feel that BF2 is a great addition to the BF family of games. When BF3 comes out, i will probably get it.

as much as I am unhappy with the current state of BF2 I will buy it.

People forget it took a long time for BF42 to be completely patched and balanced and since this game is even more complicated it will take longer till its really finished.  This is part of PC gaming and has been for a long time.  Get used to it or go play on a console that lets bugs go unfixed all too often.

I didn't think I would really like BF2 since I was a huge BF42 fan and didn't care for BF:V at all.  I was wrong.  It still needs ALOT of work but this is a great game.

i like all teh bf3 movie it was kinda cool but i don't like those old weapons of bf1942 those weapons where crap so i will probably buy bf3 if my computer can handle it..... don't feel like upgrading again.....
