My father had cleared up terrorist attacks, roomfuls of people in bits, I guess a simple body wasn't so bad.

She criticized how the Indian teacher is treating this one especially rude and aggressive student.

She is probably especially huffy about it since I also don't like the kid and backed up the Indian teacher. It doesn't help that she makes half of what either of us make.


The best classroom assistants are immigrants who keep their heads down, and don't question you.

Hard pill to swallow: fresh off the boat immigrants do in fact make better workers than "my dad fought in World War 2 for this country. He is spinning in his grave!" old white ladies.

I made a mistake at work. There is a social media policy memo that went out this morning telling us don't have private communication with the students on social media or other stuff.

One of the students came with a Go Fund Me link for his dead uncle. I scanned the QR code and gave the kid $10 to bury their uncle.

Now I am annoyed because I basically did the thing we tell teachers not to do.
