seriously, what's wrong with a few nice, easy-to-understand graphics, some analysts and maybe some videoscreens, rather than this virtual reality bullshit?

I just get disappointed that CNN promises more than it can deliver. I watch it every now and again and I'm yet to see that guy blitz any wolves.

Romney seems confident though his choice to campaign on election day seems to suggest otherwise. My prediction hinges on Florida but either way I'll call it for Obama. My guess is 332 to 206. It's a bit of a gamble because logically I think Florida is going to go to Romney, (making it 303 to 235,) but there is a chance the old people that usually vote Republican question Mitt's stance on Medicare.

The media keeps saying it will be close, political pundits suggest it's going to be more clearly in favour of Obama. Romney's support seemed to peak a few days ago now so I'm going to go with the pundits.

I just hope there's a decisive result one way or the other.

The people that want you to watch their television shows and that get more money if you do are convincing you it's going to be close so you should watch their television shows?!?!
And so continues to US motto: "Money over everything"

I voted. Nothing will change, no matter what I do now. I'll just wake up tomorrow and see who won.

i don't like deadbeats and leeches any more than you do.  I tend to focus my anger on the entrenched corporatacracy because I think those fuckers leech far more than some social welfare case.

They call things so early. It's almost to the degree of why would you bother with an election, just call it based on polling numbers.

I would've thought SC was a Republican state, why is it so lop-sided like that?

both sides are worried about turn out.

the republicans are the only ones that did something about it this year, by limiting early voting voter fraud at the state level.

Living in SC, I can tell you that the midlands to coastal regions of SC trend more liberal, while midlands to mountains regions trend more conservative. So depending on what counties and precincts have actually reported to this point, you will get a large visual discrepancy.

And I'm guessing it's like Maryland where the Conservative areas are all very isolated and remote and the Liberal areas are larger denser cities/municipalities

To a degree. We do tend to become more independent of government the further back in the woods you get. I think more on the whole though, the liberals just seem to gravitate to where there are larger bodies of water. Though there are a few northern counties that have high unemployment and are more likely to vote for entitlements.

@spark

You can't base anything off 5k votes.

Especially considering its usually the city districts that report first.
