Board Game ideas for 4 year olds

They need to learn their ABC's and 123's and I'm supposed to come up with board game ideas.
I had one like monopoly where it starts with A and ends at Z with bridges connecting box and they could drive plastic cars over it.....but I don't know what the cards should contain (something they can learn but I don't know...not GO BACK ONE SPACE)

If anyone has any advice or....and other ideas...i'll greatly appreciate all the help provided. Thanks.

i'm also making memory flash games, etc so games in general will be helpful as well

How about a friendly game of global thermal nuclear escalation? Players can choose for a diplomatic victory, global holocaust or Planet of the Apes "conclusion" to the game.

Keep it simple and easy to understand. Something like hangman will teach them both letters and numbers cause they'll know how many letters they need to win/lose.
