i'm a big fan of mong, because it sends so sonorous and beautiful and like a piece of poetry crafted from pure language sculpture. it's almost like a divinely intuited outburst of glossolalia: an unleashed syllabic missile of munificent meaning. mong achieves the subtle texture of a titian, and boasts a compact shape carved in bas-relief from the bedrock of the very vocal chord - surely akin to the geologic force of the venus de milo. mong. mong. mong. chanting it is like a transcendent process of spiritual connection, propelling you skywards through the nounal aether into a paradiso of unshackled poetics: surely the land of light and singing pictured by the finest poet, dante himself. it is said in myth of old that il miglior fabbro's last word was that most profound of utterance:
mong.
