I'd say that's poking your nose in a little too far, but it doesn't surprise me. Religious schools will often underhandedly discriminate against students for their faith. Let slip that a kid's a Mormon or a Catholic, and watch with a trollface as they're harassed on the playground....and what the pastor had to say about their beliefs.

It depends upon whether or not they are a for-profit entity or non-profit (religious). In some regions, a for-profit entity can get a religious exemption.Cybargs wrote:

correct. the internet (mostly reddit) sucking off 'famous' scientists is fucking annoying. most of the people that cite the WOW ATHEISM and YAY SCIENCE banners actually understand less than your average religious person. it's a new 'hip' banner and 'cool' signifier.
