I tried using VTOL last night to take out a transport heli and it just fails. I'm not a bad pilot, infact I'm probably the best in the world, but I just couldn't control the jet enough in VTOL mode to aim where I wanted to.

tried it my self on wake with M&KB (usually use joystick) and wtf when trying to strafe it's either a fuckload of LEFT or RIGHT when trying to actually aim at something...

F35B sucks

Been using the guided rockets a lot on aircraft now. Most vehicles are moving and I have trouble hitting them at the great distances I fire off rockets from so I can get a full cannon burst on them. I always disable vehicles and bring them pretty close to death. But can you destroy tanks with all 14 rockets and a full machine-gun burst?

get a friend, go on any map with a jet, land it on a flag and just cap it back and forth. should take 30 minutes to get at least half the unlocks. the rest you should be able to do on your own if your any decent.

I'm using a controller on PC right now for flying jets, I used to fly with KB/Mouse in BF2, I have no idea how the fuck I did, because I can't do that for shit in BF3.

Man looking at my BF2 stats I can't believe I sunk so much time into it, and I really played too much Karkand and Wake Island for my own liking. But to be honest, most of the servers were either Karkand or Wake...
