Too bad similar shit doesn't work with the guided missile + nose laser painter in the attack helis. Was flying with a friend who had the laser painter and piloting, I was gunning and had the guided missile. I locked onto his painted target (another helicopter) and fired, missile went up, then came straight back down through the enemy heli and hit the ground. Dunno if that was a fluke or what.

They're weaker then slugs (maybe.... slugs don't seem to do much damage anyway), but do splash damage, so they're brilliant for targets at range and behind cover. With the DAO, It takes about 2-3 hits to kill at all ranges and cuts right through cover.Doctor Strangelove wrote:

I got killed from 50-65m by a USAS with frag rounds. The shit hit the wall behind me and really fucked me up. I've seen a video or two and it looks real cheap. Can't wait to unlock it.

It gives you more. Like ammo perk but for explosives instead of bullets. No additional frag grenades though, that's a different perk.

Thats PC gameplay. I play at 1280x720 windowed when I record. Can't record full screen, my GPU is not strong enough.(5770)

There's no way in hell I could EVER play BF3 on PC. That chat box is game-breaking beyond description. Essentially 1/6 of your screen is blocked by that thing and it's in the most inconvenient of those 6/6s of the screen. Absolutely retarded decision I have no idea what DICE was thinking.
Nevertheless, the extra players is still really a huge appealing pro on the PC.
