mostly every employer nowadays will check your online identity... officially or not... all it takes is a google check of your full name nowadays: facebook, twitter, tumblr, last.fm, linkedin, and anything else you're registered on... they're obviously going to use it when it's an easy way of determining character and of seeing whether or not somebody will 'fit in' to an organisation. when we graduated we were all advised very sternly by our academic staff to "reconsider our online identities", basically meaning 'get rid of those 3 years of drunken photos, clean up your gossip twitter feeds and start to present yourself as an actual adult'.Kampframmer wrote:
