this thread is rather amazing.  you obsessed people pick everything she says to pieces.  truly an obsession.  kind of like how that one news paper asked its readers to help go thru the palin emails yet funny enough never asked them to go thru the health care bill.  you guys have a sickness.

Let me put it this way, safe to say that if they found dinosaur and man fossils togheter that would bring about a complete revision of... everything. Our image of the planet as it was in the past and even evolution itself. Because really, in our understanding of the world it's literally impossible for the two to coexist. On any level.

And that understanding was built up on two centuries of reasoning and compiling evidence versus a couple citations pulled from the Bible speaking about dragons. The creationists are the anti-thesis of science.

How would she, in any way, be "right"? There is 0 evidence to support a belief that man and dinosaurs coexisted. Nothing, nada. On the contrary, there's a mountain of evidence telling you they didn't (and couldn't) coexist. This is all conveniently ignored for the sake of "belief". It's ignorance.

In this case the "what if" only serves for an argument reinforcing willful ignorance. In reality, man and dinosaur will never be found to coexist.

I agree with you,  I guess the whole point is, what makes a belief that man a dinosaur existed together any more outrageous than the belief that a jewish zombi was bon onto a virgin to save us from all of our sins, or a talking snake convinced a guy to eat an apple condemning all of mankind as sinful, etc.. the list goes on and on. How is it you condemn Palin, and ONLY Palin, for believing in the UNBELIEVABLE? As if ANYONE who believes in dinosaurs and men living together is just too over the top compared to the rest. Gimme a break.

Though that's not the only reason I distrust her, secondly she tried to ban great, famous books from a library because she deemed them to be offending, showing that she's definitely not well read and cultured. And we were originally comparing that to Obama, with whom I can't number nearly as many faults. That is also why she's being scrutinized so much because it's what the whole damn debate was about. You wanted proof that she's worse than Obama, well, there's pages of it by now.

But; I'm not as one issue as other people, suppose she was a creationist but somehow ended up being a genius in debate and policy I would just have to disregard the belief part. Every politician has a couple traits you're not going to like.

and now that that issue has been resolved, we are only left with bullshit religious beliefs and political stupidity on all fronts from all politicians regarding all issues. and what is left is, Obama who hides all of his information from his past, hangs out with morally and ethically and legally corrupt individuals, and can not think or speak on the fly, is a far greater concern, or should be.

Granted, the list isn't true. Still leaves way too many things that I dislike about Palin.

As much as you say that Palin has been treated unfairly by the media as opposed to other politicians, more than with any other politician people have been prying in Obama's past.  The argument goes both ways. I know just as much about his past as I do from McCain's, nobody asks as much about the latter.

Point still stands that I wouldn't want someone who represents herself as a hockey mom relating to joe sixpack leading a nation. She won't be taken seriously by anyone. She has not demonstrated intelligence and isn't politically savvy. By the way, I think I've already argued that I don't see creationism as simply being a part of her beliefs. I'm okay with people believing all sorts of stuff as long as they don't lose their sense of reason along the way.

And the 'political stupid' occurs much more frequently with her than anyone, she's been in the spotlight for a very short time and has already had as many gaffes as Bush had in 8 years of presidency. Not to mention what weighs much more heavily, her complete lack of knowledge on a myriad of subjects.

Prying into his past? All the want is to review his college records, not exactly unheard of before Obama.

How exactly has Obama demonstrated an articulate and intelligent persona? He reads everything and does not think for himself. There is no transparency that he promised, and we can not even judge him on his credentials from Columbia or Harvard. HE WON"T TELL. If he was such a shit hot Harvard intellect wouldn't you think we would know about it?

Sad thing is, for pages I took you for your word that Palin wanted to ban books as fact without checking, even though I never heard that. What else are you wrong about her, or is that it?
