The only way I would ditch penalties as a way to settle a match is to have a 2 vs from the half way line. 2 attackers vs 1 def and 1 gk. 5 cracks each. See penalties are easier, I should be sick of them but within the next 2 seasons we will win an important one again.
It's a bit harsh on the lad who misses but can make a hero out of the GK who saves them.
We should be talking about Tom Heatons save rather than Charlie Adams miss.
