Ok cool. Here when I go out I usually visit 2-3 bars, sometimes up to 5 if it's a huge night.

just casino hop then. sit down at a penny slot machine and get $1 drinks. ez game

btw, the drinks are "free" when you're gambling, but you're supposed to tip the cocktail waitress a buck or 2

Yeah I've read up on all the tipping protocols.

Drinks: $1-2, $5 if it's really busy and only on the first drink, so they keep coming back to you later on.
Bellboys: $1-2 per bag, tip the concierge for booking anything and/or providing good recommendations.
Taxis and restaurants: 15%, or 20% if the service is particularly good.

Sound about right?

The groom for the wedding this Saturday is from Sweden, so he's not used to the heat. He said he's roasting right now, lol

You don't have to be from Scandinavia to roast in that kind of heat. It's fucking ridiculous, no matter where you're from.

As long as you take taxi's everywhere, and stay inside the rest of the time it's perfectly survivable. And it's not bad in the shade, because its dry heat rather than humid.

Oh, it's manageable. Never said otherwise. It just sucks.

The lack of humidity will make it all fine.
I grew up in Perth; 38 celsius with a low humidity was hot but bearable; I quite liked it.
34C here in Brisbane when there is 90% humidity is sometimes just too much.

This thread really helped me to plan the trip into what it is now, especially the itinerary side of things.

I'm in Vegas. Drunk from free long island iced teas. I love this place already.
