yeah thing is achievement servers made getting items too easy (grind them milestones), so valve decides, these little weeaboos will pay for anything, let's make an item store!

Anybody who plays regularly will have a massive store of metal just sitting there from dupe random drops so crafting all new items takes a few seconds.

Also that Samurai sword sounds like there will be some rather hilarious moments.

Edit: Although yeah I hate the way it seems like we're just getting promo items from now on. I'll probably give the game a go again to play with the sword but I doubt it'll last long.

They say people were complaining about no updates for a while, but all I see are complaints about too many updates that aren't thought out at all. They need to tone it down and fix all the crap that's wrong with the game. And finally add an option to disable all the ugly crap.

What does (I assume) dynamic weapon pricing have to do with TF2's descent into microtransaction madness?

One is in-game round based pricing changes using fake money, one is real money spent on items that most of the time are entirely cosmetic.

I just hope the TF2 cancer doesnt spread to other valve games. And that the money is being directed into HL3 and other such games. Doubt it though.

At least I uncrated 2 hats with the keys.

At the rate Valve is pumping out shitty new items, the leagues are going to auto-ban everything forever, since they won't be able to keep their playtesting up with the rate of new weapons.

Regarding the store, I don't see a problem buying stuff from it, as long as you have a job and don't buy like $100 worth of stuff each week.

On kill: restores you to 100% health

This weapon is Honorbound and once drawn cannot be sheathed until it kills.

Soldiers and Demos
Can duel with katanas
For a one-hit kill.

It means he can targe charge, swing once, and kill a solder. Rinse, repeat.
